Mayer Elektromotoren was founded in 1949 by Hans Mayer in Lauf an der Pegnitz, in Middle Franconia. Today, the family-owned company employs approximately 65 people across four locations in Bavaria and Austria, specializing in the repair, winding, and manufacture of custom electric motors and drive solutions, including components for servo motors, actuators for wind turbines, and projects in the field of e-mobility. Harald Daum has been leading the company as sole managing director since 2019.
